How the Overtime pay calculator works
This calculator splits your pay into normal-hours pay and overtime pay. Normal hours are paid at your standard hourly rate, while overtime hours are paid at your rate multiplied by your overtime multiplier — commonly 1.5x for the first few hours and 2x beyond that.
